Victory Christian Academy
is a Christian School in the heart of La Lucia situated
on 10 hectares of pristine, unspoilt land.
Victory Christian Academy (V.C.A.) is a
private school that provides learners with an excellent,
all round education, preparing them for life and the
world of work. Attention is given to character
development, values and moral education. The unique
individualised, Bible-based methodology allows each
student to progress at their own pace. Training such as goal
setting, social skills and leadership form part of the
daily programme.

curriculum, spiritually, emotionally, socially,

Primary School
Victory Christian Academy
was started with 9 children in 1987 and has grown into a
well-known Christian School with approximately 230
learners and growing every year. V.C.A. has a track record of successful students who
have graduated as top achievers and excelled in
universities and tertiary institutions in South Africa
and also abroad.
V.C.A. provides schooling for learners from Grade 000 to
Grade 12 using the Accelerated Christian Education
programme (www.aceministries.co.za). Each learner is
individually diagnosed on entering the school.
The curriculum is Bible based, and the characteristics
of Christ are the foundation upon which character is
developed. Learners learn 60 different character traits
from Grade 1 - 12 which has proven to stand them in good
stead as they live their lives as Godly men and women.
Every learner is unique in experience, capabilities and
needs. An individual diagnosis is prescribed for each
learner who works on his/her own level.
Learners are rewarded for any form of achievement. They
are encouraged to work at their own performance level
and are extremely motivated when achieving goals which
they have set for themselves.
High School
High school students fall
into two categories, namely grade 8 to 9 (senior phase)
and then grade 10 to 12 (further education and training
phase). In the senior phase, each individual learner
progresses at his or her own rate and receives
individual attention. The learning is motivated and
controlled.
During the FET phase
students choose their own fields for graduation and the
individualised system of learning continues through this
phase.
Sport
Most major seasonal sports
are offered at VCA where physical exercise is an
important part of healthy development. These include
swimming, cricket, soccer, hockey, netball, volleyball,
touch rugby and athletics. Pupils are given every
opportunity to reach provincial and national levels.
