The Weavers Nest Pre-Primary
School
Highbury Preparatory
School and St. Mary's DSG have joined forces and opened
a Co-educational Pre-Primary School on the Highbury
campus, aptly called The Weavers' Nest, linking the two
independent schools. The school was launched in January
2005.
The boys and girls spend happy, busy mornings at school
in their respective Grade 000 or 00 classrooms, where
the emphasis is on learning
through constructive play and meaningful, age
appropriate activities. Once ready to move to
Grade R/0, the girls will attend St. Mary's and the boys
will stay on at Highbury.
The Weavers' Nest has captured a niche in the market to
service the needs of the Highbury and St. Mary's
families.
School starts at 08h00 and closes at 12h30 daily. Fees
for 2006 are R14 400 per annum.
The children wear their own clothes to school and have a
custom made school bag, lunch box and juice bottle.
