About

Brackenfell Kiddies Campus opened its doors in January 2014 - offering a brand new, unique concept where the full spectrum of your child's educational development receives specialist attention. This childhood development centre is an initiative of the Neuro Edu Group, a partnership between two qualified Neurolink practitioners, namely Hannelie Bekker and Louise Herholdt. The Neuro Edu Groups aim is to unlock and develop potential in children through a combination of educational, therapeutic and neuro-developmental principles. Hannelie, a qualified primary school teacher, started her own playgroup 18 years ago for the sake of her own children. Since then, through her leadership and initiative, five nursery schools have been established. In 2010 she also recognised the need for formal education and started a private primary school that provides schooling to learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7. My son has been part of the school for the four years and it has been an incredible journey. My son is on the spectrum and we struggled with getting schools for him. They were accommodative from the word go and he is so happy at school! He has improved tremendously, and the principal and teachers are so supportive. They provide multiple resources which also help with children’s development. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

My daughter came home with red raw scratches in her face in the second week of being here. When I enquired about it, the teacher said she was away on training and the Principal approached me saying that nothing happened at the school, my daughter came to school with scratches, I must make sure my 4 month old son ( at that time) nails is cut. I told her she did not go to school with scratches I would have seen it sooner, and the scratches were raw so fresh when she came from school. I also asked to see the camera footage and it was apparently off at the time because they were painting. I took my daughter out immediately as I could see that the unprofessional manner in which my query was dealt with would continue through out her stay there.

I do not recommend a Kiddies Campus school after personal experience with our little boy. The manner in which the school Haasendal managed my complaints, video material that disappeared and my formal complaint was appalling. I eventually escalated the matter to their area manager Chereleen that provided very short feedback, no feedback on the video material, no effort made to meet with me as the concerned parent and ignored my messages. Its been 2 years and thinking of a Kiddies campus still make me anxious of what we have been through as a family.
