Chalkwood House has been a wonderful prep school for our son over the past 5 years and we leave with so much gratitude as he moves on to big school. The school is always clean and well cared for the staff are friendly and approachable and the children are given healthy balanced meals every day. There are also many fun events throughout the year that make school life exciting and memorable for both children and parents. A special mention must go to Nicola who joined as principal and brought about a massive positive turnaround. Her focus on relationship management and open communication truly changed the atmosphere of the school making parents feel genuinely comfortable heard and welcome. Chalkwood House will always hold a special place in our hearts and we highly recommend it.

Chalkwood has been an absolute blessing for our daughter. From the moment she started, we could feel the warmth, care, and genuine passion the teachers have for the children. The environment is bright, welcoming, and full of joy. One of the things we love most is how excited our daughter is every morning. She adores her friends and looks forward to dancing and singing with her teachers. It’s so heart-warming to see her confidence grow through the fun, creative activities Chalkwood offers. The teachers seem to make teaching and play equal in every regard as our daughter has grown intellectually and had the most fun experience possible from a school . The communication from the school is excellent, and we always feel included in her progress and daily experiences. It’s clear that every child is known, valued, and celebrated. The only thing remotely negative I can think of is how easy it is for our daughter to say goodbye to us during drop off 😊 She loves every moment of being there! We are incredibly grateful for Chalkwood and the wonderful foundation they are building for our daughter. We couldn’t recommend this preschool more highly!

Chalkwood House has been the most beautiful beginning for our daughter. From her very first day, she has been welcomed with such warmth, patience and genuine care. We’ve watched her blossom in confidence, curiosity and joy, and so much of that is thanks to the incredible teachers who make the school feel like a second home. Teacher Kayleigh has played such a meaningful role in her journey this year. The way she understands, nurtures and gently guides each child has left a lasting imprint on Georgia, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and attention she has given her. Although she’s just moving into a new class, it still feels like a big goodbye — but a very hopeful one. We know she won’t be far, and it brings us so much comfort knowing that Leo will be joining Chalkwood House in the new year, following in the footsteps of the wonderful experience she’s had. The love, patience and care she has received this year have shaped her in ways we will always be grateful for, and we feel truly blessed to be part of such a nurturing school community. Chalkwood House has been an incredible experience for our child and our family. The teachers are warm, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. You can see how much love and effort goes into creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. The communication is excellent, we always felt informed and involved and the school runs so smoothly and professionally. Our child has grown so much in confidence, independence, and social skills since starting here. Every day he comes home excited about what they learned and eager to return. The facilities are clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully set up for learning through play. It’s clear that the staff truly understand early childhood development and create activities that build real skills while still being fun. We couldn’t be happier.
