Cottontails is a nursery school servicing Northcliff, Fairlands, Randpark, Berario, Blackheath and surrounding areas. Our happy children learn through play and get equipped with the important skills they need to enter formal schooling. Many of our graduating children go on to school at Northcliff Primary School to build on the foundation they built at Cottontails Nursery School. Cottontails remains family-owned and run and we are proud to be the longest standing nursery school in Northcliff with one owner. At Cottontails the children and parents become part of our family. Although Cottontails has grown over the years, we remain close-knit with a firm focus on what is best for your child. We love what we do and it shows in our children. Why not come and see for yourself? Cottontails Nursery School have an open door policy meaning you can drop in at anytime. One of the most stressful things I went through was trying to find a Nursery school for my daughter, as a first time mom you worry about the slightest things and just want the best school for your little one. The moment we stepped into the school my husband and I just knew that this was the one. This is a home away from home and its the best feeling ever to see my daughter excited about going to school and coming back home with LOTS of stories about her day. A big shout out to the cottontails family each and every one of you are changing lives and we appreciate you immensely ❤️

So I went here in 2014-2015 before grade 1. It was THE BEST nursery school ever. I loved the vibe of the teachers, the snacks, games and sleep. It was just so nice and would honestly recommend to parents 😊

Dear Terry, Charmain, and Cottontails Nursery staff, Thank You For Loving and Caring for our Baby. Leaving your baby someone else's care can be hard. I knew from the moment we walked down the gate that this daycare was the place for our family. The tenderness in your voices and joy in your smiles was evident from the start. I felt calmer in your presence, which I could tell wasn’t an accident. Your gift is how you open your hearts to so many children in your care. Your infinite patience and unwavering energy are a kind of magic embodied by only a few special souls. It Truly Takes a Village to raise a child. Seeing evidence in her demeanour to feel more confident, grateful, and even excited to drop her off each morning. For the past few months, I could tell she lived her best toddler life in your daycare. She enjoyed experiences she would never have received at home and was loved by a whole team of teachers who connected with her in different ways. We truly appreciate it. Due to the relocation, it is sadly that Kholwa will be leaving the Nursery. I would love to shout out to Josephine who patiently stayed with Kholwa in the afternoon!! Thank you.

Our daughter has been going since she was 2 and she's 6 now. She is a well mannered,disciplined and an all around amazing little human being and it's thanks to what she has been taught at Cottontails which was instilled at home. For a happy & emotive child , this school is it

I had two children grow up at cottontails, my son from 1998 and my daughter from 2010. I cannot recommend Terry Malik (principal) and her team enough. It's was my kids home away from home.
