About

Durban Christian Centre School is in the suburb of Mayville close to the city centre. We are located in Galway Road which is on the same premises as the Jesus Dome. The school serves the Durban South area (namely Sherwood, North Beach, Westville, Queensburgh) which is a predominantly middle-class, socio-economical group. We are concerned to serve, in particular, those who seek the top quality education Christian ethos and values that characterise the school. The offering of an education where the curriculum is designed to be sound in its academia as well as a biblical perspective. We are probably one of the few Christian schools who strive towards this. While we are a Christian School children of other faiths, different racial and cultural backgrounds are welcomed. One of our fundamental goals is to raise future prophets, priests and kings. We are equipping ?Daniels?in a Babylonian society. Our weekly assembly is a unique feature.

We had an extremely bad experience with DCC School and I highly recommend any new learners parents to go through all the details with the teachers before their child starts. My son started in July 2019, in which case we were not told that it was initially a 2 week trial. We paid them R18,000, plus spent a fortune on school equipment and uniform, to the total of more than R20,000. After 2 weeks, the teachers decided that he was not up to the level they wanted and asked for him to be removed. The problem now was the R20,000.00 that was spent. They decided to refund the school fees that were paid, but refused to pay for the uniform and other parts of the uniform that was bought. Not to mention that there was no effort from the teachers to help him reach the levels required and in which case, seriously damaged his confidence. After a series of emails to the school they decided to refund the school fees and the money for the uniform, which was given back in perfect condition. The staff are very welcoming, but must be understanding when a child is not a level they expect and the only option they thought of was to have the child removed from the school.

The caption says "A place where miracles happen" & it does always; not only on Sundays, but everyday. Not because of the Pastoral Team; but because of the collective and corporate faith of the Congregants, together with the Pastors, Volunteers & Staff of DCC. Every person entering into a relationship with Christ is changed, DCC is a conduit to help Reach, Equip, Activate and Plant these souls into fertile grounds. It's not just about preaching the Word every Sunday, it's about making one's attendance an EPIC Encounter with Christ from the carpark, ride by golf art to the entrance, from the entrance to one's seat Nothing is left to "chance" ... Holy Spirit inspired Praise & Worship, Holy Spirit led fruit bearing Teaching of the Word and the expectation of the move of the Holy Spirit is so evident at every visit to hear the Word. DCC goes the proverbial extra mile to bring alive the Word through beautiful scripted Skids and Plays to help all visualise the glorious explosion of the Word. Come to the Place where the heart of the Senior Pastors (John & Joy Torrens) are reaching out for the lost at any cost. Do visit when you are in Durban; Kwa Zulu Natal... Ngiyabonga, Dankie & Shalom

Ideal place for bringing up kids on christian values. Lots of variety including sports. A bit on the dear side. Ideal for middle income families. Multiracial environment.

Great school with beautiful facilities. School fees to look at to allow other middle class parents to send kids there.
