Eastern Suburbs Pre-Primary School established in 1937 is one of the oldest and longest running Pre-primary Schools in the city of Pretoria. Our Mission Our mission is to nurture, love, educate, lead and teach pre-primary school children everything that they will need to know before entering their formal school years, so that this transition is done with ease and comfort, and that children are all ready, as confident, kind, well-disciplined, respectful and well-mannered youngsters, to start their process of formal learning. We take children from 3 months to 6 years old (Grade R / 0) We open at 06h30 Monday to Friday. Half day until 13h30, full-day until 17h30. School is open for holiday school for Eastern Suburbs children, during Government school holidays Qualified teachers and assistants in each class. Very spacious grounds, with lots of activities for the children. We also have a qualified therapist on our premises.

Great pre-school with even better teachers. Their curriculum is in-depth and relevant - their facilities are also great with big playgrounds and spacious classrooms (with each age group having their own dedicated space to learn and play). Additionally, their communication and structure of how things are run is amazing. Everyone is hands-on.

Best school for our little ones. I was reffered to the school by my pediatrician. Teachers love the children so much and they educate them. I keep on hearing new things from my daughter of which if I ask her where she heard that, she tells me she heard from her teacher. She started reading at the age of 4 and I was surprised. I have to remind her every weekend that the school is closed as she wants to go to school even on Saturdays and Sundays. For me that shows how warm, loving caring and kind the teachers are.

Excellent pre-school, with friendly staff and high educational standards. My three children have all been here and they loved it. They were also well-prepared for Grade 1, with all the foundations covered at Eastern Suburbs.
