When we moved to Somerset West, I looked at many schools for my two year old daughter. We couldn’t be more grateful for the love, support, and dedication this school has shown our daughter. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew she was in a nurturing and encouraging environment. The teachers welcomed her warmly but also when she faced some speech development delays, and what could have been a very stressful experience was made so much easier by Tanya and her team. They’ve supported her with patience, expertise, and genuine care every step of the way and we’ve seen tremendous growth—not just from what she’s learnt, but emotionally and socially as well. What stands out most is how much love they pour into everything they do. Our daughter comes home happy everyday and excited to share what she’s learned. It’s clear that this is more than just a school—it’s a place that truly cares about the whole child. Thank you Tanya, Justine and the Kids company family for everything you’ve done for our precious girl and family. We will miss you all tremendously

We absolutely love this school and our son is thriving there. He joined when he was 2 and is now almost 3 years old. His language skills, confidence, and imagination have blossomed since being there, and he only ever speaks fondly of his time at school. The teachers speak English and Afrikaans to the learners, and while we're an English household, our son can understand Afrikaans because of his exposure at school. The kids get a nutritious hot lunch everyday and the school is completely screen-free. The play ground is wonderful, with real grass, dirt, sandpits, veggie garden, bike track. There's always loads of supervision and the teachers really know what's going on with all the children. They are emotionally attuned to the kids and will bring up any issues as soon as they arise. Cannot recommend this school more. It's a really special place and I'm so glad it's a part of our son's childhood. Also, twice a year, they host a Date Night, where they have a big party at school for the kids from 6 to 9pm, and the parents can go out on a date without needing a babysitter!

I can't find words to describe how grateful I am to this school, the teachers and the environment they facilitate for our kids to thrive. My child's spackle shines brighter each day as he is with the school. As a parent, it brings so much peace to me that the environment he spends most of his day at loves him, cares about him and is invested in seeing him thrive.

The best choice for your little one! My daughter joined kids Company at 18 months old and this is her last year at the school in Grade R. To say that Kids Company is a wonderful team of teachers is simply not doing it justice, they are extended family. They have helped me raise my daughter through out these years. Kids Co slogan "teaching with heart" is a value system applied by the school on a daily basis. I love how much emphasis the school puts on both educational and emotional development. Assisting parents navigating the many different stages our little ones go through is always available through the knowledge and wisdom of the teachers but also the school principle Justine who amazes me with her guidance and practical advice she so freely shares with parents. They will go beyond the extra mile to ensure not only that your child reaches their full potential but that you as a parent are part of the journey. As a lone parent they have been my parenting village and I can not recommend them enough!

As an educator, sending my own kids to a school was one of the hardest decisions I had to make, but once I discovered this school, I knew I could entrust my children's holistic development to the staff- handing that day shift of motherhood over also,which is quite intense for a mom who knows the importance of investing in a child's early years. The hybrid methods are perfect for the ages at the school. The transparency with parents is ideal. The classrooms and playground is versatile and safe, with ample supervision at all times. It is a secure safe space for my kids which gives me peace of mind while I'm not around. Definitely a great decision for kids to prep for grade one, eventually, but more importantly -to set them up for life.
