About

Learn and Play Junior Academy is an Early Learning Centre which is well-organized and educationally-enriching for young children. The staff members are passionate about working with children to prepare them for their future education. At present it is run and owned by husband and wife team, Eric and Deo Eddy. Deo is a tertiary trained teacher with over 40 years teaching experience. Our teachers are all well qualified and most of them are tertiary trained ladies. There are several teachers with a three year N6 National Diploma in Early Childhood Development and a few pre-primary teachers with B.Ed degrees. Most of the teachers have several years of sound experience in working with young children. A truly fantastic play school! My daughter has been at Pinelands Play Sense with Justine for 2 years. She loves going to school, and happily runs in each morning. Justine is gentle, calm and caring and has lots of experience with this age group. We receive photos every day of what they got up to at school, and Justine is always happy to chat about my daughter’s development. There is plenty of space to play indoors on rainy days, and a leafy garden for when the weather is good. I am so happy we chose this school for our daughter.

I can highly recommend Justine's Play Sense group. If you are looking for a homely and nurturing environment, this is it. Our son spent 2 years with Justine, and as a family we were devastated when it was time to leave. Justine assisted us with Potty training in a kind a gentle manner and helped us identify that our son needed time with an OT. Something that was greatly appreciated as first time parents. She also embraced the exercises that were given to us by the OT so they were carried out at school as well as at home which really helped alot. You can honestly drop your child off and feel confident that they will be loved and well cared for while in Justines care.
