We’ve been with Douglasdale Nursery School for two years, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The teachers and the principal are truly amazing; kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the children’s well-being. I’ve seen such wonderful growth in my son since he started here. The environment is always clean and well-maintained, creating a safe and welcoming space for the kids. I also appreciate that the school remains open during holidays at no additional cost, and their opening hours are very convenient for working parents. Highly recommended!

Our 18 month old started to go to this Nursery school and so far we are very happy with this decision. The opening times of 0600 to 1800 are very helpful when both parents are working full time. The cameras i hardly use but always good to be able and check what's happening over there and if i can fetch him or if he is still sleeping. In terms of teacher, we have Micaela and she is very caring and supportive. I can yet comment of teachers rotating but I feel and see that Micaela makes a great job and hope she will stay a while.

This is a great school. Creates a safe environment for the children to explore and develop their minds and creativity. Your children will want to go to school everyday even on Saturdays just because they having so much fun. You won't regret taking your child/ren to the school.

Douglasdale nursery school is at the heart of Fourways which makes commuting easier for many working parents. That was one of the main reasons I chose this school for my son and considering that it has been around for years - I thought this was a reputable school . What I didnt pick up whilst considering the school, is the quality of teachers. They employ "qualified" teachers with little to no experience on childcare development. I depended on the teacher's assistance more often to take care of my child and share his development progress. Also, the experienced teachers dont last long and there is a constant rotation of new teachers.

its hard to find a school you can feel comfortable leaving your child there in other peoples care but i sent my son and i love the teachers and the care the give each child. love this school!!!!!!!
